Gene Colan has passed away

  2. This news hurts.
    I never met Mr. Colan but I've always felt a closeness to his art. Like an Italian Renaissance master he was a titan among the mere mortals of comics. His work revealed a deep empathy for the human condition. I will forever marvel at his beautiful and dynamic way of telling stories.
    May he rest in peace.

    The sadness i feel at the death of Gene Colan is immense.
    To have had a friend like you till the end must have brought him great joy.
    I hope he realised how many people liked him around the world.
    He brought so much to so many.
    A great man is gone.
    All my very best to you and his loved ones.
